ABS Names Robert Koch New President

Meadows, IL – ABS Associates, Inc. announced that Robert Koch has been named President as of August 1, 2009, assuming responsibility for ABS's commitment to service excellence and its pursuit of corporate growth. Koch succeeds interim President James Tesch who will continue to serve in an advisory capacity to the firm. Mr. Koch has been with ABS since April 2000 and has held various executive positions including Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and General Manager.

Most recently Koch was accountable not only for the financial management, forecasting and operational performance of ABS, but also for positioning the company to sustain its growth objectives. Prior to joining ABS, Koch served as Vice President-Accounting, Systems and Administration for the Industrial Bank of Japan and as Manager of International Accounting and Reporting for Baker & McKenzie. Koch is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a B.S. degree from DePaul University. He is a member of the Illinois CPA Society and Vistage, serves on the Board of Directors as Treasurer for a local service agency and is President of his community's Board of Education.
